About the Role:
As the facility’s Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of aged care residents. You’ll be part of a supportive kitchen team that values consistency, care, and excellence in food service.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in preparing and serving meals
Portion food according to individual dietary needs and plans
Prepare meals for special dietary requirements
Help manage food storage and maintain FIFO practices
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, fridges, and pantry areas
Ensure compliance with food safety and aged care quality standards
What You’ll Need:
Minimum 4 years of cooking experience (aged care or healthcare setting preferred)
A good understanding of the Australian Aged Care Quality Standards
Experience preparing meals for specific dietary needs and textures
Availability to work early mornings and weekends (straight shifts)
Valid and current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
